Audubon Christmas Bird Count

Saturday, December 16th 5:00 AM Visitor Center

Join in a ranger led canoe trip on the new Flint Creek Canoe Trail. Meet at the Osprey Point Canoe/Kayak launch area off Hwy. 67. Bring your own canoe/kayak. 

Festival of the Cranes - 2020

Saturday & Sunday, January 11-12th Visitor Center

Join us to celebrate the majesty of the Sandhill and Whooping Crane.! There will be presenters, educational displays, raptors, hands on children activities and of course, the Cranes! Please see attached poster for additional information. 

Clean & Learn - Wildlife Identification

Saturday, February 8th 9:00 AM Beaverdam Peninsula

Join us for a morning of wildlife observing and litter patrol on the Beaverdam Peninsula. Refuge staff will be on-site to identify waterfowl such as Sandhill Cranes, White Pelicans, Canada Geese and any other wildlife that might be out enjoying the refuge! 

Wings to Soar

Saturday, March 7th 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM Visitor Center

Several species of birds of prey, including owls, hawks, a show stealing black vulture, and the great American Bald Eagle, will be available for the audience to get a close up view of these magnificent birds.
